Pre-Conference jitters?

Not yet. RWA Nationals here I come!

Today's list of things to do:

Actually, that's about it. Okay - I do need to stop for my pedi too. Other than that, I'm all set.

I went through the Conference seminar schedule and highlighted all the sessions that interested me, and printed out their handouts already. I know from conference experience that I need to be flexible, sometimes the way its described isn't how the session turns out, and it's okay to leave. (Discreetly of course. But you're paying good money, and if you aren't learning what you wanted to, try another session.)

Also - sometimes if you're deep in conversation with someone interesting, you can learn just as much as the sessions, and that's as important to me as the seminars. Making some good connections, meeting some friends and hopefully editors and agents who'd like to work with me.

So.. there ya go! We'll see how many shoesies I end up taking with me after all. Posting will be sporadic for the next week, sorry Old Chap. I'll try to keep you updated!
